Job summary

We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef for a premium restaurant in Lahore, Pakistan. The role requires strong leadership of a pastry kitchen, expertise in artisan breads, sourdough, croissants, pastries, cakes and desserts, and UAE/GCC experience.

You will oversee production, quality, and presentation while maintaining hygiene and efficient service. Candidates with UAE/GCC experience and a proven track record in high-end pastry operations are essential to join this team in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on expertise in artisan breads and sourdough production.
• Excellent knowledge of croissant preparation, dough lamination, and proofing techniques.
• Professional experience preparing pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products.
• Strong baking, decorating, finishing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to oversee daily pastry production and coordinate kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of ingredient management, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Knowledge of professional kitchen hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Strong organisational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to maintain quality and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pastry production, ensuring high quality and presentation.
• Coordinate daily pastry kitchen operations and production schedules.
• Maintain and rotate ingredient inventory, minimize wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
