Job summary

Aertssen Machinery Services is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator in the UAE to support site preparation, trenching, foundation digging, and utility installation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Oil & Gas or related earthworks and holds UAE Heavy Machinery License 8, with proficiency in English.

You will operate various excavator types, use GPS systems, and work closely with site teams to ensure safe, efficient project execution in our expanding Middle East operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient English reading/writing.
• Experience operating excavators and heavy machinery.
• UAE Heavy Tractor/Heavy machinery License 8 is required.
• 3+ years in Oil & Gas, rock works or reclamation.
• GPS knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators (long reach) with GPS and attachments safely and efficiently.
• Excavate trenches, rockworks, reclamation per specifications.
• Perform pre-start inspections and daily checks.
• Load/unload materials; inspect equipment before/after use.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other operators; maintain a clean, safe work area.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, and other materials. This role is essential in supporting site preparation, trenching, foundation digging, and utility installation.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavators, long reach, GPS and its attachments in a safe and efficient manner.

• Excavate trenches, experience on rockworks, reclamation and other earthworks according to specifications.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks before operation.

Load and unload materials using the excavator.

Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure optimal operation and report any issues.

Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors.

Work closely with site supervisors, ground crew, and other machinery operators.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

Must have UAE Heavy Tractor/Heavy machinery License number 8.

Minimum 3 years of work experience in Oil & Gas field, rock works or reclamation activities

Proficient in the English language, with solid skills in writing and reading.

Broad expertise in operating multiple types of excavator.

GPS systems knowledge is an advantage.
