Job summary

PPOAR in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team. You will operate excavators safely, follow regulations, and support project timelines.

The role requires proven field experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and willingness to perform maintenance and site clean-up. A competitive monthly salary plus medical insurance, paid vacation, and overtime is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in construction.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for heavy machinery.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to dig trenches, holes, and foundations; remove stumps and roots; lift, carry and load materials; grade earth to fine grade specifications; use attachments such as clamshells, grapples, etc.
• Operate the excavator safely by following all safety regulations and procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust accordingly to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Maintain communication with supervisors to receive instructions on daily tasks and report progress of work being performed.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on excavators such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.
• Clean up work sites when finished with job duties.
