Job description
  • Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales.
  • Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of Novotel ibis and Adagio Fujairahs unique selling points features amenities services and policies.
  • Ensure complete coverage of own portfolio covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing of each account.
  • Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in timely manner.
  • Prospecting new accounts for Novotel ibis and Adagio Fujairah and follow the sales process through to convert into producing accounts.
  • Formulate corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence
  • Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required ensuring delivery of superior guest service. Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments and confirmation to client.
  • To arrange and manage familiarization / Site trips in line with business needs.
  • Respond within 24 hours to any Group/banqueting requests checking space/rates in Opera and communicating to Meeting Manager for further follow up.
  • Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account. Rates sheets must be accurate at all times. Communicate any obstacles to completing action plans to DOSM.
  • To support: Sales team in carrying out roles effectively (i.e. by ensuring there are enough sales kits available for the week)

Qualifications :

  • You have experience in service sector which is relevant for our business (e.g. retail hotel industry catering hospitality or service division).
  • You distinguish yourself through your service-oriented way of thinking and value work that has direct customer contact.
  • Ideally you have already worked as a customer service representative service agent or sales consultant and are an expert in customer support.
  • You have a confident demeanour and are not only sales-oriented but perhaps even a charming sales talent.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willing to work on a shift rota basis to cover branch opening hours
  • You have excellent English skills which allows you to be a brilliant communicator.
