Role Scope
Area(s) of Responsibility
Key Activities
- Support & Management
- Supports management and operational coverage at entertainment events and at shows/venues as requested.
- Provides administrative support to the team ensuring swift action to delegated tasks and prepares meeting agendas and notes.
- Supports the event operational or organizational aspects as required, including but not limited to:
- Marquee and seasonal celebrations.
- Corporate functions.
- Team buildings.
- Static installations.
- Interactive guest activities.
- Acts as entertainment manager on duty for event.
- Suggests event operational guidelines for the facility.
- Working with Contractors and other departments.
- Works closely with vendors ensuring a positive and efficient working relationship.
- Oversees 3rd party and internal installation, execution and de‑rig of events as required, including hands‑on work as required.
- Health, Safety & Risk Compliance:
- Supports the implementation of HSE protocols during planning and onsite execution phases.
- Assists in the preparation and delivery of risk assessments and emergency action plans in collaboration with HSE and Security departments.
- Ensures events follow operational safety standards and guidelines for public venues.
- Asset/Document Management:
- Maintains entertainment owned event assets in any required facility ensuring tidiness of areas such as storage, green rooms and other back‑of‑house spaces.
- Assists in the development and delivery of timelines and schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
- Produces & distributes show reports, install & derig reports.
- Technical & Production Coordination:
- Liaises with technical vendors to ensure alignment with production needs (lighting, sound, staging, etc.).
- Reviews technical schedules and coordinates installation timelines with vendors.
- Provides on‑ground support during setup, rehearsals, and breakdowns.
- Financial responsibilities:
- Assists in tracking project‑related expenditures and ensures compliance with procurement processes under the direction of the Manager – Events & Production.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Education and Qualifications
- Essential: Higher Secondary or equivalent
- Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in the arts, events or related fields
- Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in any technical Theatre discipline
Years of Experience
- Essential: Minimum of 2 years in theme park, live event, or entertainment production roles, including hands‑on experience in coordinating event operations or show delivery.
- Desirable: 2+ years of experience in the event industry.
Knowledge, Languages and Skills
- Essential: Ability to read CAD drawings and related construction/design documents.
- Essential: Computer skills; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Essential: Proficiency in written and spoken English; Ability to develop and distribute reports, schedules and event manuals.
- Desirable: Project management; vendor leadership; vendor negotiation.
