Job summary

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research is seeking an Events Procurement Officer in Ras Al Khaimah. You will oversee vendor sourcing, market research, and relationship management for events, ensure timely procurement, and coordinate with internal teams to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/SCM and at least three years in event procurement. SAP experience is preferred; ISO knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Event Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in an event management or event procurement environment.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and risk management practices is desirable.
• Experience using SAP is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Sourcing, Market Research & Relationship Management: identify qualified vendors for events, evaluate capabilities, maintain vendor database, explore alternative suppliers, build relationships, stay informed on market trends.
• Procurement Coordination & Event Delivery Support: source vendors by requirements, confirm specs and delivery schedules, ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, liaise with internal teams, monitor performance.
• Quotations, Evaluation, Negotiation & Purchase Order Processing: review quotations, conduct evaluations, negotiate terms, prepare summaries, process PRs/POs, track status, maintain records.
• Contracts, Asset Tracking, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: support contracts, define scope and deliverables, monitor compliance, manage amendments, inventory assets, analyze data and identify savings.
