As a ROKA Events Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience. You'll create memorable moments, embody our vibrant restaurant energy, and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards that define the ROKA experience.

ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. First launched in 2004 in London, our collection has grown to include five venues in the Middle East in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Bahrain & Kuwait. ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolizes the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata. Roka is proud to be part of the Azumi collection.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming event enquiries, providing accurate information on menus, pricing, availability, and event options.
  • Prepare and manage event proposals, function sheets, menu selections, and any required amendments.
  • Act as the main liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.
  • Organize and host client site visits when required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through pre‑event support, day‑of coordination, and post‑event follow‑up and feedback.
  • Ensure all event setups align with brand standards, guest expectations, and operational capabilities.
  • Keep all event materials, including menus, brochures, and presentations, up to date.
  • Maintain full and current knowledge of the brand, venues, offerings, opening times, products, and services.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of SevenRooms to maximize covers and ensure accurate booking management.
  • Understand each venue’s layout, capacity, and operational flow to provide accurate recommendations and efficient planning.
  • Identify opportunities to boost covers, optimize space usage, and support overall business growth.
