Job summary

Al Naboodah Commercial Group is seeking a Project Engineer EV Charging Services to lead technical execution, installation, commissioning and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure across customer sites in the UAE.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of EV chargers, electrical systems, CPMS integration, and strong site coordination with customers, OEMs, and subcontractors. UAE project experience and a valid UAE driving licence are mandatory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical projects, EV charging, electrical infrastructure, energy systems, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with EV charging systems is strongly preferred.
UAE project/site experience is mandatory.
Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate EV charging installation projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover, reviewing scope, drawings, BOQs and specs.
Supervise AC and DC EV charger installation, including electrical connections, earthing, and integration with CPMS/backend.
Provide technical support for operational EV charging stations, attend breakdowns, perform maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Monitor charger status via CPMS, analyze error codes, coordinate with clients on OCPP and connectivity issues.
Act as technical point of contact for customers and sites, coordinate with utilities, consultants, and stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and handover materials.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and UAE regulations; conduct toolbox talks and site inspections.
Coordinate with charger manufacturers and OEMs, review manuals and firmware, and support evaluation of new models.
