Job summary

Global Process Systems in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support estimation, proposals and EPC project activities.

The role involves RFQ preparation, MTO development and vendor evaluation for instrumentation items and bulk materials. You will read specifications, interpret P&IDs, and contribute to technical bid evaluations and cost estimation for Oil & Gas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering is required.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimation, proposals, instrumentation engineering, or EPC projects, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Good knowledge of instrumentation, P&IDs, instrument specifications, MTO preparation, and vendor evaluation.
• Experience in RFQ preparation, technical bid evaluation, cost estimation, and proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Reading specifications, understanding the P&ID requirements, instrument selection and MTO development for Tagged items and bulk materials.
• Floating RFQ for the materials, technical evaluation, and selection of vendors
• Raising Technical clarifications and close out for proposal preparation
• Reading specifications, understanding the scope requirements, MTO development for all Electrical items and bulk materials (added advantage)
