Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Senior SOA Developer with strong expertise in banking SOA delivery, industry standards, and multi-tier service design. The candidate will lead architectural design, development, and governance for complex banking integrations using IBM Data Power, IIB/ACE, and API Connect.

Key responsibilities include strengthening SOA practices, implementing best-practice patterns, and delivering high-quality technical services across multiple banking projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in SOA development activities, Banking/Financial sector preferred.
• Experience in delivering multi-tier SOA solutions with strong design/documentation.
• Certification in IIB v10 & MQ v9.1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in inception/strengthening of SOA practice.
• Develop and deliver technical services for multi-tier & SOA projects.
• Create HLD & LLD for implementing and delivering services.
• Follow banking service standards and SOA best practices.

Job description

Must have experience of Banking SOA Delivery methodology SOA Center of excellence and implementation of SOA best practices. Knowledge of Banking Service standards such as ISO8583 IFX Open Bank Project ISO20022 and SWIFT.

Core Service design experience covers the following:

• Experience with Rest with with Implementing different Integration Design Patterns
• Knowledge of SOA Principles & best & SGLC processes .Creating HLD & LLD for Implementing & delivering technical services for Multi-Tier & SOA to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service technical designs documents for multiple projects in ADIB.
• Involved in inception/ strengthening of SOA practice.
• Strong Hands-on Development Experience at the following Areas:
• IBM Data Power Development & API Connect Development & Administration ODM Development & Administration IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development ESQL Development Java Development Oracle/SQL DB Development IBM MQ V9.x related Tasks IBM WSRR Different Integration Protocols (SFTP TCP/IP MQ JMS HTTPS WS REST..) Previous experience:
