Role Context The ERPNext Developer will own the technical evolution and functional reliability of a business-critical enterprise platform. The position connects operational requirements with maintainable ERP solutions that improve process control, reporting accuracy, user experience, and decision-making.
Success requires more than writing code. The developer must understand how departments work, translate business challenges into ERPNext configurations or custom applications, and ensure that each release is secure, documented, tested, and sustainable.
Documentation will form part of every implementation. The developer will prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, software requirement specifications, standard operating procedures, configuration logs, technical notes, and release records.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and have 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework. Experience with the ERPNext Education module will be an advantage. A portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating custom applications, module extensions, integrations, or other ERPNext work is highly preferred. This role provides substantial ownership of an ERP platform that supports several departments and operational priorities. The selected developer will influence system architecture, process automation, release quality, and the pace of digital transformation rather than working only on isolated coding tasks. The opportunity also offers broad exposure to education operations and enterprise workflows while building valuable expertise across ERPNext development, functional consulting, integrations, cloud deployment, and internal technology governance.
