Job summary

Mott MacDonald is looking for an Environment, Sustainability & Waste Consultant to join our UAE team. The role supports environmental, sustainability and waste assignments in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment across sectors and geographies.

You will work with project teams to deliver reports, analyses and recommendations, while developing knowledge across environment, sustainability and waste disciplines and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Management, Waste Management, Chemical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Strong graduates with relevant academic, internship or placement experience are encouraged to apply.
• Broad interest in environmental, sustainability and waste topics with willingness to develop across all three disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with confidence handling qualitative and quantitative information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for clear reports and presentations.
• Good organisational and time-management skills to manage several tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel for project meetings, workshops, site visits and fieldwork.
• Proactive, curious and adaptable approach, with desire to learn in a fast-paced team.
• Arabic proficiency would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of environmental, sustainability and waste consultancy projects under guidance of senior team members.
• Assist project initiation and planning, defining tasks, deliverables and information needs.
• Help project managers with daily controls: progress monitoring, budgets, risk registers and reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, maintain project records and support QA processes.
