Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu-Dhabi UAE is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The role offers a salary of 900 AED monthly and is open to an immigrant candidate; no prior experience is required as we are willing to train the right person.

The Welder will read welding plans, prepare materials, operate welding equipment, and ensure work meets instructions and safety standards on-site in Abu-Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings or plans accurately.
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse welding plans or drawings accurately to identify materials and equipment needed for the job
• Operate appropriate welding equipment in a safe manner
• Prepare metals for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding and bending
• Monitor the process of joining metal parts together with precision and accuracy
• Follow safety guidelines when carrying out welding operations
• Ensure that all welding jobs are completed according to instructions, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain all tools in good working order
