We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician (Painter & Mason) to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for executing painting and masonry work on various engineering and construction projects ensuring high-quality finishes and structural integrity.

  • Perform painting tasks on interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings and structures
  • Execute masonry work including bricklaying, concrete work and plastering
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
  • Prepare surfaces for painting or masonry work including cleaning, sanding and priming
  • Mix and apply paint, mortar and other materials according to specifications
  • Operate and maintain painting and masonry tools and equipment
  • Adhere to building codes, safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project coordination
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on completed work
  • Estimate material quantities and report on project progress
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in painting and masonry preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in painting and masonry work preferably in construction or engineering projects
  • Proficiency in various painting techniques and masonry skills (bricklaying, concrete work, plastering)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Expertise in using painting and masonry tools and equipment
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
