Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting an Engineering Manager to join our team for a newly awarded large-scale project in Dubai. The role focuses on monitoring shop drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure alignment with specifications and project timelines.

You will coordinate with all trades to develop proper shop drawings, review subcontractor designs, and liaise with the client on technical, contractual, and commercial matters while guiding design teams to

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Responsibilities

Studying the project's specifications, along with the design drawings.
Monitoring the generation & development of shop drawings for structural, architectural, and MEP, and ensure the submission on the planned time.
Ensure the compliance of the shop drawings and materials to the project's specifications, the construction sequence on site, and to the planned time program.
Reviewing the design of specialist sub-contractors (post tensioned structural elements, steel structure, waterproofing, curtail wall, landscaping, architectural different types of finishes, etc.). Coordinating and guiding the sub-designers to meet the project's specific requirements.
Updating the management about the status of the ongoing activities. Liaising with client, and considers his concerns technically, contractually, and commercially.
