Job summary

Audiomob is seeking an experienced hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Services team in the UAE. The role blends people leadership with deep technical work on highly scalable Node.js/TypeScript systems, with Go and AdTech experience valued.

You will mentor engineers, drive design and delivery of high‑throughput solutions processing billions of requests per day, participate in coding and architecture discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in management.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and operating scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms with IaC tools.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL) and in‑memory stores (Redis).
• Hands‑on AI-assisted coding tools and applying AI to workflows.

We are looking for an experienced hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Services team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams while being deeply involved in the technical aspects of highly scalable systems.

Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript is essential, with a strong preference for additional experience in Go and AdTech.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrable expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing, operating, and scaling complex infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and in-memory data stores, such as Redis.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools, along with a strong interest in applying AI to engineering workflows and automation.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure.

Nice‑to‑have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Go is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and libraries used with TypeScript, such as SvelteKit or React, is a plus.
• In‑depth understanding of the AdTech industry is a plus.
