Job summary

TestHiring is seeking an experienced engineering and facilities manager to lead hospitality, retail and real estate projects in Dubai. You will drive construction and renovation initiatives, oversee design implementation and ensure compliance with safety, sustainability and budget targets.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate with architects, contractors and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or facilities management in hospitality, retail or real estate.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction and renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and sustainable design principles.
• Proficiency in project management tools and BIM software.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives for new construction and renovation projects across hospitality, retail and real estate assets.
• Oversee design implementation and execution of facility upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations, sustainability standards and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and operations staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee maintenance and repair activities to ensure optimal building performance.
• Monitor and improve energy efficiency, system reliability and compliance across all properties.
