Job summary

Anotech in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of software and engineering work packages, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality targets. You will partner with cross-functional teams and customers to drive execution across the Build & Run lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years of delivery experience, strong PM competencies, and familiarity with Jira/GitLab. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software or engineering delivery, with at least 3 years in Delivery Manager/Work Package Manager role.
• Experience delivering complex engineering or software projects in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of project management principles (planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management, reporting).
• Experience with Software Engineers, DevOps, Solution Architects, Systems Engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Jira, GitLab, and similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Lean, collaborative engineering practices.
• Experience in high cybersecurity and critical systems environments is desirable.
• PMI/IPMA certification is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of engineering work packages with scheduling and budget control.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and ensure on-time delivery within budgets.
• Coordinate customer meetings, reviews, and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software Development, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and IVVQ teams.
• Work with the Project Manager and discipline leads on resources and skills.
• Identify and resolve delivery risks, issues, bottlenecks.
• Promote Agile and Lean methods to improve delivery performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor delivery teams and foster knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with quality, cybersecurity, and governance requirements.

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for leading the engineering delivery of infrastructure and software development work packages, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution throughout the "Build & Run" lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
