Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with EKFC’s Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies by consistently promoting and enforcing safe work practices.
- Plan and coordinate all required materials, tools, and manpower to enable timely and efficient project execution.
- Apply in-depth technical expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS), Chillers, and Refrigeration Plant Room operations.
- Define and document clear project team roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations to ensure accountability and goal alignment.
- Set challenging yet achievable performance objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct evaluations to support staff development.
- Lead the continuous improvement and optimization of operational procedures and work practices in line with Lean Manufacturing and industry best practices.
- Resolve work-related concerns and grievances within the team in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify skill gaps and implement structured training programs to enhance the competency of engineering personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure achievement of departmental Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Review and approve project-related documentation, including as-built drawings, prior to final project handover.
- Ensure adherence to EKFC’s Quality Management System and OHSE standards in all engineering activities.
- Apply EKFC’s Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2008 standards in all assigned tasks, in accordance with departmental procedures and compliance requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in executing and managing MEP projects.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and collaborate with multiple service providers and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in project design, securing authority approvals, execution, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant project management or engineering software.
- Strong skills in project estimation and budget management.
- Ability to interact effectively with local authorities and regulatory bodies to fulfill project requirements.
