Job summary

PeopleStrong in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP/FPS Coordinator for Substation projects. On-site responsibilities include supervising FPS installations, ensuring compliance with drawings, and coordinating with civil and other MEP teams.

The role requires Substation MEP site experience and a background in fire protection, MEP coordination, and testing/commissioning activities at sites in Dubai.

Qualifications

• MEP/FPS coordination experience preferred.
• Substation MEP site experience is required.
• Familiarity with fire protection installation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP/FPS activities at substations on site.
• Supervise installation of fire protection systems.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings and standards.
• Execute FPS works per project specifications, including testing and commissioning.
• Prepare testing reports and documentation for consultant approval.
• Monitor daily site activities and manpower productivity.
• Coordinate with civil and other MEP teams to avoid clashes.
• Assist in fire alarm testing and integration.
• Supervise hydrant and hose reel systems installation.
