Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is recruiting for an Endoscopy Technologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain. The role involves assisting in endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care in the endoscopy unit.

The candidate should hold a valid DOH license for Endoscopy Technologist, reside in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Al Ain) with DOH license, have relevant endoscopy experience, and be committed to infection control and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid DOH license for Endoscopy Technologist.
• Currently residing in UAE (Abu Dhabi or Al Ain) with DOH license.
• Experience in endoscopy or allied health technology.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety.
• Based in UAE and eligible to work in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and ensure sterilization.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and other interventions.
• Monitor and support patients before, during and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment usage and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the endoscopy department.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
