HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB)

We help customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect and grow their wealth. Our international network and breadth of expertise enable us to support individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs around the world.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our IWPB team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for generation of new business opportunities. The role entails implementing purely new business skills for effective and better results through relationship management in companies under the AEL List.
  • Be responsible for developing the sector by ensuring HSBC is the primary bank of choice, by offering retail solutions which are relevant to the sector.
  • Drive, organize and lead financial wellbeing seminars to employees within their sector and branding HSBC as a bank who also support corporate, social responsibility.
  • Work closely with RMs from Corporate and Global Banking to target companies where both solutions could be offered and giving clients the advantage of our services and driving better customer experience.
  • Drive sector led strategies that will help in better management of our companies and driving better outcomes through wellbeing seminars and International coverage programs.
  • Also build our market position by locating, developing, defining and negotiating IWPB product solutions for the employees of our existing corporate clients within their sector.
  • Improve penetration within the company, the CAM will be the key point of interface between different departments within the bank and the companies and plays an important role in the elimination of risk, both in terms of operation and credit point of view.
  • Be the spoke person for the sector from a retail side and will be primary responsible in driving product, marketing and policies within that sector.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A full understanding of the IWPB products (propositions) and services, including the global service standards, and the ability to communicate this effectively to customers.
  • Proven experience selling to and working with high net worth individuals.
  • Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions.
  • Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective / seamless handover of customer relationships to those with appropriate skills to manage them.
  • Capacity to inspire trust.
  • Customer service ethic.
  • Graduation degree is a must - to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
