Job summary

Khazna Data Centers is seeking a Manager Treasury to lead long-term debt financing and debt management across its data center projects in the UAE. You will drive strategy, engagement with lenders, due diligence, documentation and financial close, while maintaining a consolidated view of the debt portfolio.

The role requires deep experience in project finance or corporate finance, hands-on execution of financing transactions, and strong reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• MBA, CFA, ACA/ACCA/CPA, CTP or another relevant professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, debt financing, project finance or related field.
• Hands-on exposure to long-term financing transactions from structuring to close and post-close administration.
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure, utilities, real estate or other capital-intensive sectors preferred.
• GCC financing experience in UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess funding requirements for new and existing projects and recommend debt structures (project finance, corporate, bridge, construction, refinancing).
• Drive transaction execution from mandate and credit approval through documentation and financial close.
• Maintain a complete debt register with facilities, lenders, covenants, and maturity profiles.
• Monitor covenant compliance, information undertakings, reporting obligations and risk mitigation.
• Manage lender relationships, security agents, and external advisers; coordinate with senior management.
• Prepare timely debt dashboards and support Board/shareholder reporting on funding strategy and portfolio performance.

As part of our Emiratization initiatives, we are looking for a Manager Treasury to join our Data Center Implementation team. He/ she will lead and execute the Company's long-term debt financing and debt management activities across data center and other infrastructure projects. The role will support financing strategy, lender engagement, financial and commercial analysis, due diligence, documentation, financial close, drawdowns and ongoing facility administration. The job holder will maintain a consolidated view of the debt portfolio, ensure timely compliance with financing obligations and covenants, manage refinancing and interest-rate risk workstreams, and provide clear debt reporting and decision support to the Director - Treasury and senior management. Some of their key accountabilities will be as follows:

Debt Financing & Transaction Execution

• Assess funding requirements for new and existing projects and recommend appropriate debt structures, including project finance, corporate finance, bridge or construction facilities, and refinancing solutions.
• Drive transaction execution from mandate and credit approval through documentation, conditions precedent, financial close and initial drawdown, maintaining clear action trackers and accountability.
• Maintain a complete debt register covering facilities, lenders, commitments, utilization, pricing, repayment schedules, covenants, security, guarantees, key undertakings and maturity profiles.
• Monitor covenant compliance, information undertakings, conditions subsequent, reserve requirements and reporting obligations; elevate risks or potential breaches early and coordinate remedial actions.
• Monitor interest-rate exposure and support development and execution of hedging strategies in line with approved policy and facility requirements.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis covering interest rates, debt capacity, covenant headroom, liquidity, refinancing and downside cases.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Ensure all financing and debt-management activities comply with approved policies, delegation of authority, finance documents, applicable regulations and internal controls.
• Develop and improve debt procedures, templates, trackers, dashboards and controls to support a scalable multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction treasury function.

Stakeholder & Workstream Management

• Act as a key point of coordination among Treasury, FP&A, Finance Operations, Legal, Tax, Commercial, Business Development, Projects and senior management for financing matters.
• Manage external relationships with lenders, facility and security agents, legal counsel, model auditors, technical advisers, insurance advisers, rating agencies and other transaction parties.

Management Reporting

• Prepare timely monthly and quarterly debt dashboards covering utilization, debt service, maturity profile, cost of debt, covenant compliance, hedge position, available facilities, key risks and required actions.
• Support management, Board and shareholder reporting on funding strategy, financing execution, debt capacity and portfolio performance.

Eligibility requirements and key competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• MBA, CFA, ACA/ACCA/CPA, CTP or another relevant professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, debt financing, project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure finance or a closely related field.
• Demonstrable hands‑on exposure to long‑term financing transactions from structuring and lender engagement through due diligence, documentation, financial close and post‑close administration.
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure, utilities, energy, real estate or another capital‑intensive sector is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple debt facilities, lender relationships, covenant obligations, drawdowns, repayments and refinancing workstreams.
• UAE – wider GCC financing experience and exposure to bank syndicates or club deals is preferred.
