Qualifications

• UAE national with a Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies from an accredited institution.
• Holds a valid DHA Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility.
• Fresh graduates under Emiratization are encouraged to apply.
• Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications under direct supervision.
• Receive and process prescriptions accurately, ensuring pharmacist verification prior to dispensing.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages or expired items.
• Prepare sterile IV medications and extemporaneous preparations as directed.
• Process insurance claims, billing, and maintain accurate dispensing and inventory records.
• Provide patients with clear instructions on medication usage and refer complex queries to the pharmacist.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, DHA regulations, and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pharmacy environment.
• Participate in quality assurance, safety initiatives, and process improvement activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and DHA-required training.
