Job summary

AlFuttaim is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical pharmacy support team in Dubai. The technician will assist in medication preparation, inventory management, and documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and operational efficiency.

This role requires a UAE National candidate with a diploma in the Pharmacy Technician program and a DHA license. You will play a vital role in patient safety and contribute to high standards in pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• UAE National candidate.
• DHA license or eligibility as Pharmacy Technician.
• Basic knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under supervision in a structured healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and labeling medications under supervision.
• Receive and process prescriptions ensuring accuracy and compliance before dispensing.
• Maintain inventory levels and monitor stock for expiry or shortages.
• Prepare medications and support compounding processes as directed.
• Process insurance claims and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
• Provide basic guidance to patients while referring clinical queries to pharmacists.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and internal pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the pharmacy.
• Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development.
