Job summary

Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai seeks an experienced physician to provide immediate medical assessment and treatment in the Emergency Department for adults and children. The role involves resuscitation and stabilization, documentation, and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requires MBBS/MD with Emergency Medicine exposure and a minimum of five years in a busy ED; UAE experience preferred. Shortlisted candidates can join within 2–3 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Medicine or the equivalent from an accredited institution.
• PG/MD in Emergency Medicine an advantage.
• Recent 5 years post qualification experience in busy ED setup.
• UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical assessment and treatment to emergency patients (Adults and Children) and support resuscitation and stabilization.
• Notify attending physicians about patient status and discuss management plans.
• Conduct daily rounds and document progress notes with assessment and care plans.
• Cover call rota as first on call per departmental schedules.
• Respond promptly to medical complaints and document findings and plan of care.
• Document indications and justifications for advanced diagnostic tests and management steps with ICD accuracy.
• Complete handovers at end of shifts and coordinate with nurses, consultants, and other departments.
• Prepare discharge summaries and discuss discharge instructions and medications with patients.
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality/patient safety activities.
• Act as active member of Fakeeh Health Care facility and support safe patient care.
