Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist/Consultant with UK CCT to join a leading UAE hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency medical care to a wide range of acute and critical conditions.

Responsibilities include stabilizing patients, coordinating with specialists, supervising procedures, teaching junior staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. UAE licensing eligibility is required or pursued as applicable.

Qualifications

• UK CCT in Emergency Medicine from an approved training pathway.
• Valid registration with the relevant UK medical regulatory authority.
• Post-CCT clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in emergency and acute care medicine.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, or equivalent certifications.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to health authority assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage patients in the Emergency Department.
• Provide timely, evidence-based treatment for medical, surgical, trauma, and emergency presentations.
• Manage critically ill and deteriorating patients, including resuscitation and stabilization.
• Perform and supervise emergency procedures within the scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, inpatient teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure referral, admission, discharge, and follow-up of patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical handovers.
• Maintain accurate medical records per hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Support clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, and infection-control initiatives.
• Teach, train, and supervise junior doctors and other staff when required.
• Adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.
