Job summary

Sprint Digital Technologies LLC is seeking a hands-on ELV Engineer to deliver and support Extra Low Voltage systems across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will work on site, coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and customers, and ensure systems are installed, tested, and handed over to specification.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of ELV experience with a Diploma or Bachelor's in electronics/electrical/telecom, and are ready to manage shop

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Hands-on ELV engineering experience in installing, testing and handing over ELV systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems (access control, CCTV, AV, IP telephony, cabling).
• Supervise on-site installation and verify against drawings, specs and BOQs.
• Coordinate with MEP, civil, fit-out, and subcontractors to resolve clashes and maintain schedule.
• Serve as technical point of contact for customers and consultants during execution and handover.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, submittals, method statements and test reports.
• Carry out site surveys, take measurements, and assess requirements for new projects.
• Perform cabling testing and system integration checks, FAT/SAT.
• Provide troubleshooting and maintenance; support during defects liability period.
• Maintain material/tracker reports and escalate delays or risks.
• Enforce HSE and permit-to-work procedures and handover documentation.

About the Role

Sprint Digital Technologies LLC is looking for a hands‑on ELV Engineer to deliver and support Extra Low Voltage systems across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will work on site, coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and customers, and make sure systems are installed, tested, and handed over to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems: access control, CCTV/IP surveillance, audio‑visual (AV), IP telephony, and structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Supervise on‑site installation work and check it against approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with third‑party teams (MEP, civil, fit‑out, fire alarm, BMS), vendors, and subcontractors to resolve clashes and keep work on schedule.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers and consultants during execution, testing, and handover.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as‑built drawings, material submittals, method statements, and test reports.
• Carry out site surveys, take measurements, and assess requirements for new projects.
• Perform testing and certification of cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber OTDR/power meter), system integration checks, and functional testing (FAT/SAT).
• Provide troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective maintenance, including support during the defects liability period.
• Track material requirements, site progress, and daily/weekly reports, and elevate delays or technical risks early.
• Enforce HSE requirements, permit‑to‑work procedures, and quality standards on site.
• Train customer staff and prepare O&M manuals and handover documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Technical Skills (3–6 years of hands‑on experience)

• Access control: controllers, readers, electric locks, door hardware integration, and software (e.g., Suprema, Matrix, ZKTECO, Genetec, HID, Paxton, Honeywell, or similar).
• CCTV/IP surveillance: IP cameras, NVRs/VMS, storage sizing, camera positioning, and network configuration (e.g., Hikvision, Axis, Hanwha, Milestone).
• Audio‑visual systems: meeting rooms, display and projection systems, audio DSPs, control systems, and video conferencing integration.
• IP telephony: IP PBX/VoIP phones, SIP, PoE, and VLAN basics.
• Structured cabling: copper and fiber installation, termination, labeling, and testing to TIA/EIA and ISO standards.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, PoE, VLANs, and IP addressing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics (AutoCAD proficiency preferred).
• Familiarity with MS Office and project documentation.

Preferred / Added Advantages

• Experience with Dubai authorities and standards (Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, TRA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police SIRA requirements for CCTV).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCTV/VMS vendor certifications, CommScope/Panduit/Siemon structured cabling certification, or CTS (AVIXA).
• Exposure to fire alarm, PA/voice evacuation, BMS, or smart building integration.
• Experience on commercial, hospitality, government, or industrial projects.
• Valid UAE driving license and available in UAE with Immediate joiner.
• Knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or other regional languages (a plus, not required).
