Job summary

St. Regis Dubai is seeking a meticulous Laundry Attendant to operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.

You will identify stained items and decide on repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard, while maintaining accurate records of laundered articles. Responsibilities include following safety policies, presenting a professional appearance, and supporting a cooperative team to achieve quality, efficiency, and cost-savings

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from machines and place in clean linen carts.
• Move, lift, and carry items up to 25 pounds and navigate stairs or ramps as needed.
• Follow safety policies, protect assets, and maintain confidentiality.
