Job summary

Atlantis The Palm is urgently hiring lifeguards to safeguard guests at the Aquaventure Waterpark and resort pools. The role requires physical fitness, vigilance, and the ability to perform water rescues, CPR, and first aid as needed.

Successful candidates will pass a rigorous swimming test and maintain equipment and communication gear daily; accommodation and meals are provided as part of the package. The position also demands staying alert in hot outdoor conditions and coordinating with on-site

Qualifications

• Must pass a demanding physical swimming test and deep-water retrieval drill.
• Able to remain alert outdoors in extreme heat.
• Prefer Lifeguard certification from Ellis & Associates or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crowded wave pools and high-speed water slides to instantly identify and rescue struggling swimmers.
• Enforce strict ride height restrictions and water safety rules to prevent injuries.
• Perform daily checks on rescue equipment, first aid kits, and communication radios before every shift.
• Provide immediate basic life support and CPR during medical emergencies while coordinating with the resort's medical clinic.
