Position Overview

The Elementary Homeroom Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Support students' academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership.
• Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations.
• Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Teach all areas of the elementary curriculum.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced elementary program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
• Build partnerships with parents to support student learning, well-being, and development.
• Provide students with personalized instruction according to their individual learning needs, strengths, and interests.

Candidates should be qualified with at least 2 years of recent full-time teaching experience, preferably in the US curriculum. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a teaching qualification.
