Job summary
Volt Management Services Limited in Dubai is seeking a qualified electrician to join our construction team. The role covers reading electrical drawings, installing wiring and fittings, terminating and testing cables, and troubleshooting faults on site.
You should be able to interpret circuit diagrams, work safely outdoors in all weather, and cooperate with other trades. Benefits include accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, and visa support; joining air ticket and meals are not
Qualifications
- KCSE required.
- Kenyan Passport with at least 1 year validity.
- Certified Grade Test.
- 3 years working experience.
- Completed apprenticeship in electrical installation.
- A valid electrical trade certificate.
- Certification in electrical installation is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of health and safety issues in electrical work.
- Ability to read and follow technical plans, drawings, and diagrams.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical layout drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Install wiring conduits, trunking, and cable trays as per specification.
- Install and connect distribution boards, switches, sockets, and fittings.
- Terminate and test cables and connections for safety and continuity.
- Install earthing and bonding systems per regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on site.
- Carry out routine inspection and testing of installations.
- Ensure all work complies with UAE electrical safety codes and site regulations.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes with electrical routing.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
