Job summary

Volt Management Services Limited in Dubai, UAE seeks a qualified electrician for our construction team on Project 1. You will read electrical drawings, install wiring and fittings, terminate and test cables, and troubleshoot faults on site.

Applicants should be able to read technical plans, work safely outdoors in all weather, and collaborate with other trades. A valid electrical trade certificate and apprenticeship are expected, with 3+ years of field experience.

Qualifications

Must have KCSE and Kenyan passport.
Certified Grade Test and electrical trade certificate required.
Minimum 3 years' working experience in electrical installations.
Completed apprenticeship in electrical installation.

Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting electrical layout drawings and circuit diagrams.
Installing wiring, conduits, trunking, and cable trays as per specification.
Installing and connecting distribution boards, switches, sockets, and fittings.
Terminating and testing cables and connections for safety and continuity.
Installing earthing and bonding systems in line with regulations.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults on site.
Carrying out routine inspection and testing of installations.
Ensuring all work complies with UAE electrical safety codes and site regulations.
Coordinating with other trades to avoid clashes with electrical routing.
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
