Plant Workshop Electrical Technician Class 2, you will be a key contributor to the seamless operation of our plant workshop. Your expertise in electrical systems and components will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the reliability of critical equipment. This role combines technical proficiency with leadership responsibilities, emphasizing a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in the plant workshop following stringent safety guidelines and industry standards.
• Conduct proactive inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold the optimal performance of electrical systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in various plant equipment, including control panels, motors, and sensors.
• Utilize advanced testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and address electrical issues promptly.
• Actively enforce and promote safety protocols and procedures within the workshop, fostering a culture of safety.
• Regularly conduct safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain meticulous records of all electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance professionals, including mechanical technicians and engineers, to optimize the performance of plant equipment.
