Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Ras al-Khaimah is looking for an experienced electrician to maintain electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault finding, and working closely with supervisors and peers. Requires documented technical training and at least one year of experience in hotel engineering. Qualifications

• Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• One year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Experience and knowledge of modern meeting equipment and setups.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Shift Supervisor / Duty Engineer regarding daily work progress.
• Works closely with peers to carry out preventive maintenance.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
• Carries out all tasks assigned by his supervisor.
• Able to read building and electrical drawings.
• Able to fault find and repair electrical controls and systems.

Job description

To maintain all electrical equipment in good working condition by Carrying out necessary repairs & preventive maintenance

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports to the Shift Supervisor / Duty Engineer regarding daily work progress and work order completion.
• Works closely Shift Supervisor / Duty Engineer with and peers to carry out preventive maintenance and annual maintenance program.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in job departmental procedures and instructions.
• Carries out all other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor.
• Able to read Building and electrical drawings.
• Able to fault find and repair electrical controls and systems.
• Excellent understanding of electrical installations and systems within modern buildings; TV CCTV BMS etc. inclusive Switchgear Bus bar risers.
• Good practical skills capable of the installation and maintenance of Switchgear Conduit Trunking FP 2000 etc. to a high standard.
• Familiar with Planned Preventive Maintenance and Safety programmes.
• Flexible and team player and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Works closely with peers to assist in their job when requested by Shift Supervisor / Duty Engineer
• To attain all departmental meetings and training classes.

Qualifications
