Role Description

The Electrician role at FOURSQUARE FACILITY MANAGEMENT LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Arab Emirates. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, diagnosing electrical faults, performing troubleshooting, and completing corrective and preventive maintenance on wiring, panels, lighting, and other building systems. The role involves responding to service requests, documenting work performed, coordinating with facility management and other trades, and ensuring minimal downtime for building operations. The Electrician is expected to follow safety procedures at all times, use appropriate tools and testing equipment, and support continuous improvement of facility electrical performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electricity principles and practical electrical work, including installing and servicing wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
• Experience in maintenance & repair of building electrical systems, with the ability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to building systems and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trade or electrical engineering; local UAE authorization or license to work as an electrician is an advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, including safe use of tools, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service requests and priorities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with facility management, contractors, and other team members.
• Previous experience in facility management, building maintenance, or similar environments in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
