Job summary

YO AI Labs in Dubai seeks an Electrical Supervisor to lead installation and maintenance on industrial projects, ensuring MV/LV systems meet safety and quality standards.

You will read SLDs, manage on-site teams, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and monitor progress, materials, and reliability across site activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial/Plant electrical projects.
• Substation installation and maintenance expertise.
• MV & LV transformer and electrical panel installation.
• MV & LV cable laying, glanding and termination.
• Cable containment system installation.
• Reading and interpreting SLDs and electrical drawings.
• Strong team supervision and manpower management.
• Monitor progress, manpower productivity and material usage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation and maintenance at industrial sites.
• Oversee MV/LV substations, transformers and panels.
• Supervise MV/LV cable laying, glanding and termination.
• Ensure cable containment system installation per specs.
• Read and execute work from SLDs and drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
• Monitor progress, material usage and manpower vs plans.
• Identify faults and supervise troubleshooting.
• Inspect work for quality and safety compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities at industrial and plant project sites.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of MV/LV substations, transformers, and electrical panels.
• Supervise MV/LV cable laying, glanding, and termination activities.
• Ensure proper installation of cable containment systems as per project requirements.
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on SLDs and electrical drawings.
• Supervise site manpower, allocate daily work activities, and monitor team productivity.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and other site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor work progress, material consumption, and manpower utilization against project plans.
• Identify electrical faults and supervise troubleshooting and rectification activities.
• Inspect electrical installation work to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
