Job summary

Lazourdy Contracting and General Maintenance is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead electricians on site in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise installation, cable pulling, LV panel work and final terminations while ensuring tasks align with project timelines and TAQA/UAE standards.

You will conduct tests, assist in commissioning, troubleshoot faults, and maintain HSE compliance. Immediate joining is required for this challenging role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in UAE construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cable installation, pulling, containment systems and final terminations.
• Oversee LV panels, MDBs, SMDBs and DB connections and ensure proper dressing.
• Conduct insulation and continuity tests and assist in commissioning.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults and equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure all works comply with TAQA Abu Dhabi Regulations and UAE electrical codes.
• Monitor material consumption, verify deliveries, and maintain tools.

Site Supervision

Lead and manage a team of electricians and helpers ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to the project timeline.

Installation

Supervise and participate in cable installation, cable pulling, containment systems, conduits, trays, trunking and final terminations.

Power Distribution

Oversee the installation, dressing and connection of LV Panels, MDBs, SMDBs and DBs.

Testing & Commissioning

Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests and assist in the final commissioning of electrical systems.

Troubleshooting

Identify and resolve electrical faults, wiring errors and equipment malfunctions promptly.

Compliance

Ensure all electrical works meet TAQA Abu Dhabi Transmission Despatch Company regulations and local authority standards.

Material Management

Monitor material consumption on‑site, verify deliveries and ensure tools are maintained in good working condition.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience within the UAE specifically in the construction sector.

Technical Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of Low Voltage (LV) systems, cable pulling, and termination techniques.

Regulatory Knowledge

Deep familiarity with TAQA regulations and standard UAE electrical codes of practice.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and load schedules.

Leadership

Proven ability to manage site teams and maintain discipline and productivity.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
