Job summary

A prominent engineering firm in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise on-site electrical works and ensure compliance with project specifications. This role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of site experience in UAE/GCC. Applicants should have strong problem-solving and coordination skills, and be familiar with UAE standards and regulations. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant site experience in UAE/GCC, preferably with construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE standards, DEWA regulations and local authority requirements.
• Must be currently based in UAE and available for immediate joining.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all on-site electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other site engineers.
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements and shop drawings.
• Conduct inspections and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Monitor progress of works to meet project schedules.
• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company policies.
• Resolve technical/site issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain documentation of site activities and QA/QC records.
