Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer

Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

MANDATORY CRITICAL MATCH CRITERIA (READ FIRST):

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in industrial or plant electrical projects. A stable career history is strictly required.
• Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Core Skills: Hands-on experience executing substation installation/maintenance, MV/LV transformers and electrical panels, MV/LV cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment systems.
• Software/Tools: Working proficiency in reading and interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematic drawings.
• Communication: Strong coordination and communication skills for site execution and consultant inspector interactions.
• Logistics: 100% strictly Work-from-Office / Onsite model located in Sharjah, UAE. Candidate must be currently based in the UAE, hold a valid UAE Driving License, and possess an active UAE Work/Residence Visa.

Position Overview

The Electrical Site Engineer will oversee electrical installation and maintenance activities across industrial and plant projects. This role supervises site manpower, manages consultant inspections, and ensures technical execution adheres strictly to project plans and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Substation & Plant Execution: Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MV/LV transformers, electrical panels, and substations.
• Cable & Containment Installation: Execute MV & LV cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment systems setup.
• Site Inspection & Coordination: Coordinate directly with consultant inspectors for material and work inspections and liaise across internal departments.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read, interpret, and implement electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and technical site schematics.
• Team & Productivity Supervision: Supervise site manpower, monitor daily progress, identify faults, and ensure optimal material usage.
