Job summary

TÜV SÜD Middle East LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a QC Inspector - Electrical Engineering to conduct quality inspections, witness testing and monitoring at construction sites, fabrication yards, and vendor locations within the UAE. You will ensure compliance with ITPs, project specs, and international standards.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC for Oil & Gas, appropriate electrical certifications, and the ability to travel frequently across sites in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or engineering degree in Electrical discipline.
• At least 5 years QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas.
• Certifications such as CompEx, IECEx or ATEX preferred.
• Experience on construction sites, fabrication yards and vendor inspections.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards and QA/QC documentation.
• Willingness to travel within UAE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and witness testing for EPC Contractors and Manufacturers per ITPs and project requirements.
• Review and endorse inspection and testing records for compliance.
• Monitor contractor QC personnel performance and report quality concerns.
• Attend QA/QC meetings with contractors at site and yard.
• Perform material receiving inspections and verify documentation.
• Witness fabrication, testing, and material verification activities per requirements.
• Inspect site Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom installations.
• Witness electrical and instrumentation testing: continuity, insulation, loop checks, calibration.
• Report NCRs and follow up until closure.
• Ensure all QA/QC records are completed and properly documented.
