Job summary

The role requires ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification and 5–10 years in QA/QC for electrical construction, with GCC/India project exposure preferred.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Electrical QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installation, inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and client requirements. The role ensures full compliance with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), project quality plans, and applicable safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections for electrical works related to Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
• Verify installation activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation for incoming materials, installations, and completed works.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and punch lists.
• Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, and clients during inspections and quality audits.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
• Participate in internal quality audits and support external/client audits.
• Review method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Promote compliance with HSE and project quality standards throughout project execution.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in Electrical Engineering.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification (Mandatory).
• 5–10 years of QA/QC experience in electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience in Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
• India and/or GCC project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards, quality documentation, and inspection procedures.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
