Job summary

Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Investment Group LLC in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Purchase Assistant Executive to support procurement operations for switchgear, batteries and electrical components. You will ensure purchases meet technical specs, quality standards and project requirements while coordinating with multiple internal teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation engineering and 1–2 years of purchasing experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation engineering (mandatory).
1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations is preferred.
Experience in switchgear, electrical equipment or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and purchasing switchgear and electrical components based on project requirements.
Prepare RFQs, compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs and material requirements.
Use AutoCAD to review electrical drawings and diagrams.
Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain procurement records in ERP.
Verify battery specifications and manufacturer details.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, sales, warehouse and accounts teams for timely delivery.
Monitor orders and follow up on supplier performance.
Maintain supplier database and procurement documentation.
