Job summary

AL Hajeri Group(Queenex) in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to oversee electrical and instrumentation systems in our tissue paper manufacturing plant. You will ensure reliable operation, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include calibrating sensors, PLC/SCADA/DCS troubleshooting, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs and HMIs.
Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with safety standards (Lockout-Tagout, arc flash).

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment including motors, drives, panels and distribution boards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick resolution.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics and manuals.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and standards.
Calibrate and maintain sensors, transmitters, pressure gauges and other field instruments.
Monitor and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA and DCS systems used in the process.
Maintain and configure control systems for tissue machines and utilities.
Regularly check process instrumentation for accuracy and efficiency.
Assist in commissioning and start-up activities for new machines.
