Job summary

NMDC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee inspections for a project segment, study specifications, and report nonconformities. The role requires signing off completed work and ensuring adherence to the quality inspection plan.

Responsibilities include generating daily inspection reports, liaising with the client QC representative, ensuring HSE compliance, and maintaining complete quality records for filing and safekeeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
• IECEx certification required or preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role and industry.

Responsibilities

• Study project specifications and drawings to understand work.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with the quality inspection plan.
• Resolve minor site issues and prepare non-conformance reports for serious breaches.
• Issue and verify inspection and testing quality records for conformity.
• Generate daily inspection reports and sign-off completed work segments at hold points.
• Liaise with client QC representative and provide clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
