Job summary

KEO Group in Dubai seeks an Inspector - Electrical to join our team. The role involves managing inspection requests, reviewing drawings against specs and codes, and reporting non-conformances to stakeholders. You will monitor quality and safety on site and maintain daily activity records with progress photos.

Providing technical input to resolve site issues is expected. 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience in electrical inspection or similar role.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with local codes and international best practices.

Responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take timely action.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and international standards.
• Report works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for action.
• Monitor quality of works and safety at site, ensuring compliance with specs and safety risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily site activities, including progress photos for inspection."
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and NCRs as events unfold.
• Check and ensure coordination between discipline works and others.
• Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related site issues.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Inspector - Electrical to join our team based in Dubai, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Qualifications
