Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing all electrical aspects of interior fit-out works in line with project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Review architectural and interior design drawings and develop corresponding electrical layout plans.
• Prepare load schedules, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and circuiting plans as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with interior designers, HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams for seamless service integration.
• Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, and selection of switchgear and panels.
• Project Execution: Supervise and manage electrical installations at the site, including lighting, power sockets, DBs, earthing, and ELV systems.
• Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and local authority standards.
• Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems; ensure timely rectification of defects or snags.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical submittals, and method statements.
• Liaise with local authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Maintain project documentation, site logs, test reports, and as-built drawings.
• Quality Control & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to safety codes and standards.
• Identify and mitigate site risks related to electrical installations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safety compliance by electrical labor teams.
