INTECH AutomationIntelligence in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support E-House Solutions across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Utilities. You will lead electrical design, integration, and commissioning for LV/MV systems and packaged substation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 4–8 years of industrial experience in Projects & Maintenance; UAE market experience preferred, esp. E-House, Packaged Substation, and Modular Electrical Building projects.
• Experience in electrical system design, integration, and execution within industrial, utility, infrastructure, and oil & gas environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with LV/MV switchgear, transformers, UPS/DC systems, VFDs, bus duct systems, auxiliary systems, and building integration.
• Demonstrated exposure to FAT, integrated package testing, technical inspections, and vendor coordination.
• Solid understanding of electrical power distribution systems and multidisciplinary package integration.
• Working knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NEC.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD & ETAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical projects from concept to handover with technical excellence.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for all electrical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets, and provide technical support during engineering, execution, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate and review design and system integration for LV and MV switchgear, transformers, UPS/DC systems, VFDs, MCCs, bus duct systems, lighting and small power systems, HVAC electrical interfaces, fire and gas and fire alarm systems, building and structural interfaces, earthing systems, and cable routing.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, manufacturing teams, QA/QC, and project stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and timely completion of engineering and testing activities.
• Review vendor drawings, calculations, technical documentation, and test procedures to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Coordinate, lead, and support FAT and SAT activities, including witnessing tests and ensuring resolution and closure of punch points, test observations, and technical non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, client standards, and applicable international codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and NFPA.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, design conflicts, interface issues, and testing gaps throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support commissioning activities, site troubleshooting, and final project handover documentation.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 4 – 8 years of industrial experience of Projects & Maintenance. Experience in UAE market is preferred, specially in E-House, Packaged Substation, and Modular Electrical Building projects.
• Proven experience in electrical system design, integration, and execution within industrial, utility, infrastructure, and oil & gas environments.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools. Experience of using AutoCAD & ETAP will be an added plus.
