Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for complex projects, ensuring full DM/DEWA compliance and safety. You will prepare detailed electrical drawings, calculations and specifications for regulatory approval, conduct site surveys, and oversee installation and commissioning with authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and project execution within Dubai.
• Current and valid DM/DEWA registration is mandatory.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design and ensure DM/DEWA compliance.
• Prepare electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications for regulatory approvals.
• Submit to Dubai Municipality, DEWA and Civil Defence and address authorities'' comments.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys of electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Job description

Site visits; prepare electrical, Civil Defence and reflected ceiling plan drawings.

Submit to Dubai Municipality, DEWA and Civil Defence, and manage the authority requirements and comments

Manage electrical DEQ status

Take part in internal and authority inspections

Lead the design and development of electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with DM/DEWA regulations and standards.

Prepare and submit detailed electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications for regulatory approval.

Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify potential integration challenges.

Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and project execution within Dubai.

Current and valid DM/DEWA registration is mandatory.
