Overview
This position is based in Ireland.
Designs, develops, tests, and supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for a wide range of applications (e.g., power generation, electronics, telecommunications, automotive). Solves complex technical problems and ensures systems meet specifications and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and applications.
- Conduct research and implement new electrical technologies.
- Analyse and solve complex electrical problems.
- Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- For senior roles: Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- For specialized roles: Experience with specific technologies (e.g., power systems, embedded systems, renewable energy).
